1802 Oyster Bar

It was 16 February in 1802 when Matthew Flinders sailed into Coffin Bay on the Investigator and named Coffin Bay after his good mate, Sir Isaac Coffin.

The two friends would have loved nothing more than to indulge in a glass of cold ale, sit on our large outdoor deck and eat our delicious local oysters and fresh seafood, had it been built. Now built for your enjoyment. Come and ‘Investigate’ the experience.
