Since opening in 2019, the team at Char has focused on delivering honest, chargrill-inspired food made with fresh, seasonal produce sourced from local South Australian producers wherever possible.
The restaurant’s food philosophy is simple: quality ingredients, done well. The menu showcases premium local meats and seafood, including SA Prime Eye Fillet, Mayura Station Wagyu Rump, Teys Black Scotch Fillet, kangaroo served rare, Spencer Gulf King Prawns, and a selection of house-made accompaniments. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are also available.
