Founded by a seasoned chef and restaurateur with over three decades of experience, the venue reflects a deep personal connection to the land, inspired by the legacy of South Australian farming forebears. The menu offers a playful and thoughtful take on French bistro classics, reimagined with seasonal, local ingredients and paired with a carefully curated, regional wine list. The current main offerings include freshly shucked oysters and the free-range pork cutlet from The Dairyman Barossa, alongside the premium Coorong Black Angus grass-fed eye fillet—showcasing the very best of South Australia's producers.

Owner, Emily Raven says: “Our best kept secret is the freshness and value we enjoy everyday. Growing up in SA meant appreciating the legacy of my own forebears that farmed in South Australia. Returning to SA has been such a joy. Our Central Market is packed with seasonal freshness and my visitors are always spoilt for choice. As a restauranteur and chef of more than 30 years I value the connections I have with farmers, growers and wine makers as I know this is integral to how I please my guests every week.”
