That’s Enrico is a boutique pizzeria nestled in the heart of Lobethal, South Australia, founded by internationally acclaimed Northern Italian pizzaiolo Enrico Sgarbossa.
In 2021, Enrico and his Japanese wife, Akiha, made a tree change to The Adelaide Hills from his award-winning Sydney restaurant, Al Taglio. Since January 2023, he has been at the helm, creating a variety of two- and three-course menu packages that celebrate organic, local, and ethically sourced ingredients, and their menu is updated seasonally.
That’s Enrico offers fresh, locally sourced ingredients and proudly supports small, local businesses. With a strong commitment to sustainable farming practices, the restaurant ensures the best for both the community and the environment. Enrico Sgarbossa’s dedication to reducing environmental impact is reflected in every aspect of the kitchen—most notably through his Zero-Waste Bread, a signature creation that transforms leftover pizza dough into artisanal loaves that are as delicious as they are eco-conscious. Their beverage list champions organic and local wines, carefully selected to complement the menu.
Guests can also participate in Enrico’s immersive pizza masterclasses, where both amateurs and professionals learn how to prepare, knead, and cook the perfect pizza using organic, locally grown produce.
